Who can use CineLyst

You need to be at least 13 to use CineLyst. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should have a parent or guardian’s permission. By using the app you confirm this and that the details you give us are accurate.

Your account

You sign in with your mobile number or email address. Keep access to it secure — you're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at support@cinelyst.in if you think someone else is using it.

Using the app

CineLyst is for your personal, non-commercial use. Please don't scrape or bulk-copy our data, try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or use it for anything unlawful.

What you post

Your reviews, ratings, squad messages and display name stay yours. By posting, you allow us to show that content inside CineLyst so other users can see it. Keep it respectful — no abuse, harassment, hate speech, spam or illegal content. You can report content from within the app, and we may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules.

Film and series information

Titles, posters, artwork, cast, ratings and streaming availability come from third parties, including TMDB and IMDb. This information may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Streaming availability changes often and varies by region, so always check with the provider before subscribing or paying. This product uses TMDB and the TMDB APIs but is not endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by TMDB.

Recommendations

Recommendations, match percentages and mood picks are generated automatically from your preferences and activity. They're suggestions — not endorsements, and not a guarantee you'll enjoy something.

Our content

The CineLyst name, logo, design and software belong to us. Please don't copy or reuse them without permission.

Availability

We work hard to keep CineLyst running, but we provide it "as is" and "as available", without warranties. Features may change, pause or be removed over time.

Our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or incidental losses from your use of the app, or for decisions you make based on third-party film information.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we'll tell you in the app. Continuing to use CineLyst means you accept the update.
